While the humidifier can be placed on the floor or a wooden table, it is recommended to put it in an area with the most airflow and use a tray underneath to prevent wetting the surroundings due to the high humidity levels.

Regarding the sound the humidifier makes while running, it is normal for the device to have bubbling sounds. This is the sound of water moving from the water tank to the base, and at other times, it may be quiet without affecting its performance.
